Well for starters, some sentences end up being just that, a lifelong sentence that is on repeat inside your head. It would have been put there by someone that you most likely trusted but has sense proven to be the cause of your pain.

The words become tattooed to our daily being. Bringing themselves up to surface frequently with no hope of ever leaving. As a survivor myself of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse, I can say that bruises they will fade and eventually will go away. Whereas words they stay forever. No matter how hard you try to forget you just can't because no one has yet to create an eraser for verbal abuse.
